Code of Conduct
As an end of life doula, I follow the Schedule 3 Code of Conduct for Non-Registered Health Practitioners, which is part of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law. This Code helps protect the public and ensures that people receiving care can feel safe, respected and well supported.
Following this Code means that I:
• provide services with honesty, integrity and compassion
• work within my scope as a non-medical practitioner
• ensure your privacy and confidentiality
• communicate clearly and respectfully
• support your rights, choices and cultural or spiritual beliefs
• maintain appropriate professional boundaries
• take all reasonable steps to ensure your safety
• have processes in place for feedback or concerns
If you would like to read the full Code, it is available on the NSW Government Website here. You’re always welcome to contact me if you have any questions about how the Code applies to my work.
